Support for When You're Holding Too Much for Too Long

Compassionate Therapy for Women Navigating Life's Hardest Seasons

Therapist supporting women through motherhood, anxiety, and grief, including pregnancy loss.

I’m Alyson—owner, CEO, and practicing psychotherapist here at Journey of Hope Counselling & Psychotherapy. More than titles though, I’m also a woman, a mother of three living children, and someone who has walked through the heartbreak of multiple pregnancy losses.

Like many of the women I support, I’ve faced my own struggles with anxiety, the weight of grief, and the constant pull to balance entrepreneurship, motherhood, and personal well-being. These experiences have shaped not only who I am, but how I show up as a therapist—with deep compassion, authenticity, and a genuine understanding of the invisible challenges women often carry.

I believe that every woman deserves care, compassion, and the chance to heal. Therapy doesn’t erase the struggles, but it creates space for you to breathe, process, and begin to feel like yourself again. It’s a place where your story matters and where hope can be rebuilt, even in the hardest seasons.

At Journey of Hope, I am honored to walk alongside women through their own unique journeys—whether that means navigating motherhood, healing from loss, finding balance, or rediscovering purpose. You don’t have to carry it all alone.
